Wheel thrown then sculpted and manipulated, this functional vessel will draw attention in any room with the elegant flow creating movement in all directions. The texture was added with natural objects and highlighted with a blue underglaze. The base coat is a transparent glossy glaze of blue ice. The interior is glazed down the neck where it's then exposed, vitrified (waterproof) stoneware. This piece was fired to 2200F/1200C.
