100% Hand made, sculpted ceramic vase. This beautiful coiled vase flows with nature in it's organic form and color.
This vessel is hand coiled, manipulated, and sculpted to form this one-of-a-kind organic piece of art which makes for beautiful decor with or without flowers.
The exterior is painted with Alabaster matte then coated with a flux which creates the taupe colors and bleeds dark blues and grays. Beautiful colors!
The interior is textured and glazed with semi-opaque white soft matte glaze that breaks and interacts with the texture beneath. Lead free and non-toxic, the Interior is glazed down the neck of the vessel where it's then exposed, vitrified (waterproof) stoneware. This piece was fired to 2200F/1200C.
This piece can be used indoor or outside. Would not suggest leaving water in the vessel during cold months as it can freeze, expand, and crack.
