The exterior is painted with several layers of blues and floating crystals that explode and bleed when fired. Beautiful colors!
Lead free and non-toxic, the Interior is glazed down the neck of the vessel where it's then exposed, vitrified (waterproof) stoneware. This piece was fired to 2200F/1200C.
This piece can be used indoor or outside. Would not suggest leaving water in the vessel during cold months as it can freeze, expand, and crack.
